I am highly passionate about and proficient in Rust, with a deep love for the language and its ecosystem. I have used Rust professionally in production for over 18 months and am a contributor to multiple widely used crates.
An ad fraud detection and prevention platform for digital out of home (i.e. billboards) used by many of Australia's largest advertising agencies.
The platform, developed by myself, utilises serverless Rust infrastructure on AWS to perform data collection, aggregation, provide a GraphQL analytics API and more.

A site to help people find vaccine appointments sooner made with friends in September 2021 during lockdown. It saw over 80,000 users and received direct support from the Ministry of Health.
I primarily worked on the React/TypeScript frontend and focused on streamlining user flows.
A platform for schools to monitor attendance, coordinate and nurture students. I lead the redevelopment of the student app and developed multiple parts of Angular and React frontends.
An electronics repair service. I developed systems facilitating online bookings as well as internal tools for inventory management, etc.
I believe design to be utterly critical to a product's success and excel at designing simple, pleasing user interfaces.
In addition to development, I also designed the user interface and dashboard layout of the platform. It has been praise by many clients for its ease of use, simplicity and aesthetics.
I was also part of the design team, improving usability and designing new features, and lead the redesign of the student app — seeing significantly higher student engagement with the platform.
I graduated with a conjoint degree majoring in computer science, marketing and information systems from The University of Auckland.
I also attended St Peter's College in Adelaide where I was prefect and house captain.
I currently live in central Auckland, New Zealand.

From a young age I've loved flying. I regularly enjoy using flight simulators and hope to soon get my private pilot's license.
